Friday Cat Lyrics

Hi All!

I am going to share a secret with everyone today.  My Mommie loves it when I sing to her.  Oh, sure she acts all mad, especially when I sing to her at 3am, but I know the truth, she loves it.  I have decided that one reason she does not like my 3am concerts is because the Hoomans have taken all of the good ones.  So each week I am going to give everyone a Cat song adopted from a famous human one.

This weeks song is called "I Can't Get No Catisfaction", formerly sung by the Rolling Stones.  The lyrics are as follows:

I can't get no catisfaction
I can't get no catisfaction
Even tho’ I nip and I nip and I nip
I keep getting no, I keep getting no

When I'm ridin' in my stroller
And that Mommie starts yellin’
She's tellin' me no-no and no-no
About some past fun misdeed
Supposed to better my behavior
I keep getting no, oh no, no, no
Hey hey hey, that's what I say

I can't get no, I can't get no
I can't get no catisfaction
No catisfaction, no catisfaction, no catisfaction

Remember - Sing Loud, Sing Late and Sing Often!

We bet you sing WAY better than our mom! :-D

Nicki is especially fond of singing or otherwise creating a ruckus (the mom's point of view) at 2 - 3AM, so he'll try this one out!

Have you two ever heard of T.H.E.? It stands for Thundering Herd of Elephants, and it means chasing each other all over in the middle of the night.... Good before or after the concert. Or in place of.

Still young at heart,
