Hello, my name is Sassy. I am the other (better) half of this blog. I am a 7 year old medium long hair kitty.
For the first wonderful six years of my life, I was an only cat. Then 332 days (and 6 hours, not that I am counting) Mommie went to the local Animal Shelter. AND SHE DID NOT COME BACK ALONE! My space was invaded by Trouble. Mommie muttered some silly thing about how another cat would help me come out of my shell - whatever....
When Trouble first arrived, I tried giving her a couple of smack downs to make her go away, but the silly cat thought I was playing with her. The following picture is one I had Mommie take as proof that Trouble illegally invaded my space and TOUCHED me.
Mommie says I have got to get better at sharing my things - I say I need to get better at plotting the mysterious disappearance of Trouble!

Hello. I read mention of your blog on the Cat Blogosphere site and thought I'd come to say hello. My cat Tungsten was an only cat for a year and a half before I brought Josie home. They did not get along for quite a while. Now, they, well, they don't not get along... I'll settle for that. But Tungsten got used to Josie. And Renn. And now she has to get used to Tucker, too. I can only imagine how having a new roommate after six years felt... But you'll get used to having Trouble, in more ways than one.

Normally, we say wait a while, and you'll be snuggle buddies. But after this long, maybe you need to start plotting the end of Trouble instead.
But don't do anything but plot for a while yet. She might calm down eventually.
Yup it is great to be the only cat. We all wish around there that we were only cats sometimes but it is good to have friends. Maybe you will get to like Trouble eventually.Take care and have a super evening.
