Birthday Bash!! - The Cowboys and Indians

Kitties - today the younger kitties all had their pictures taken.  This was hard to do - they did not want to stop playing Cowboys and Indians long enough to pose!  But first before we show you their pictures, our photographer (otherwise known as Mommie) just realized that she failed to post Miss Katie's of Glogirly fame Biker picture yesterday.  Many apologies to Katie - Mommie says she is knee high in pawtying cats and losing it!

And finally, Maverick the dog joined in the fun.

Thanks to everyone for joining in my birthday fun!  And best of all, for my birthday gift, Mommie has told me that so long as I remember that I am a lady and so long as Kozmo remembers to be a gentleman cat, I do not have to have a chaperone any more!!!  It is going to be great to be TWO!



Of Fine Dining and Biker Bars

Kitties - While the older kitties are getting their massages, we set up a photo op so everyone could see their party clothes.  The plans for tomorrow are a dinner at one of Dallas' finest upscale restaurant and then closing out the night at some of Dallas' best biker bars in the West End.  

First up, we have our hostess Sassy and her date, Austin

Pawty Update

Kitties - everything is underway for my birthday pawty.  Already some guests are starting to arrive early so that they can enjoy a little Dallas time.  There was a big campfire meow-along (that the neighbors may not have appreciated!) late last night and a gun fight at OK corral reenactment today. Plans are in place for a Indian Pow Wow, complete with a Nip Peace Pipe and Indian dancing later tonight.  I can't wait to snuggle with my Kozmo, my Sweet Ba-Boo under the Indian blankets! 

The older cats did intensive shopping therapy today at the Dallas Galleria.  They did have a little bit of excitement last night.  On the eight floor (where most of the kitties are staying) security received reports from the other guests of a certain black cat that was seen moving from room to room, dragging a pink beddie behind him during the night.  However, since none of the lady cats were willing to file a complaint the next day, this is an unconfirmed report. 

Mommie went to the butcher shop today to pick up the meat for our BBQ.  We are going to have:

Kitties - for this week's song, I wanted to sing a birthday song, but I didn't want to do the same ol' boring Happy Birthday song.  I found this birthday song by Ultimate.  They are rappers, so to be honest the song needed a lot of improvement!  Here is my version of "Its My Birthday".

Pawty Reminder!

Kitties - just as a reminder - please get your RSVP and pictures into me by 07/28 (I moved it forward 2 more days to give everyone more time). 

We have big things planned.  For anyone who would like to arrive early and do some sightseeing in Dallas, we have sit up a teepee in the backyard for the young boy kitties (I hear there are plans the night before to sit around the campfire, tell kitty ghost stories and eat hot dogs until they vomit!

There will be a bunkhouse set up for the young girl kitties (who already have set up plans to raid the teepee at midnight and frighten the boys furless!)

And finally, we have also reserved a floor of the four star luxury Westin Galleria hotel.  This hotel is attached to the Dallas Galleria, one of the premiere shopping areas in Dallas.

A Box For Canada

Awards!! We Got Them!

Kitties - Sassy here.  Callie and I have been very blessed lately.  We have received not one, but two awards lately!  First we received the Blog On Fire Award from Ayla, Iza and Marley of Mark's Mews.  Unfortunately due to CatOlympics posting duties, we were not able to post about it until today.   Then today, I, Sassy - not Callie - was given this award by the Great and Mighty Spitty.

With this award, we are supposed to list up to eight unusual things about us.  Mommie is not sure that she can think of eight things, but here are some. 

1. Callie - like Spitty, I do not like treats.  Mommie has tried freeze dried, temptations, greenies - every kind.  Just do not like them!
2. Sassy - well, I like treats, but my tummy does not!  So our house is pretty much a treat free zone. 
3. Callie - I love it when strangers come to our house.  I say the more people to love me!  I am not afraid of anybody.
4. Sassy - I hate strangers.  And by strangers, I mean anyone I have seen in the last hour.  Really, I would rather just stay under the bed. 
5. Callie - I love the shred paper into as small of pieces as possible.  Then spread the pieces around as far as possible.  Mommie does not understand this is cutting edge decor.

We are also supposed to pass this award on to other bloggers, but Mommie has been looking around and it seems that most blogs have already received it.  If you have not - please consider it passed on to you!

Kitties - today's song is in the theme of this week  - CatOlympics Best Nippy Face.  It is also a great song to sing any time the human puts you in a PTU.  The humans so love to hear you sing while they are driving.  And let me tell you another thing I learned last night - they also love it when you sing it to them at 3:00 am - as loud as possible!  Oh sure, they don't know how to show their joy at hearing it, but trust me, they will love for you to sing it to them.  Are you ready to thrill the humans?
