ISSUE #1August 1st is my 2nd birthday! I am planning a big, huge party. It is going to be a little something different – like me! Keep August 1st open on your calendar!
I am sorry to bring everyone down while I am sure that you are busy celebrating my birthday announcement, but a grave injustice is being committed at my home and I need your help. I am just (almost) speechless at this. Okay, here is the story. As some of you will remember, back a few months ago, I was lucky enough to get to visit my handsome and brave my Sweet Ba-Boo in London. Unfortunately, Mommie FORCED me to bring Sassy along as chaperone since I was still a little “young”.
Well lately, Sassy has been thinking about maybe starting to date, if the 'fraidy cat can get up the nerve. I was somewhat excited to learn this as I wouldn’t mind taking a trip back to England as Sassy’s chaperone. Then Mommie broke the news to me….because Sassy is an “older” cat, she does not have to have a chaperone!
This is so unfair!
Old cats need a chaperone just as much as young cats. I mean think for a minute about all of the things that could go wrong with dating an older cat……
…..she could have a senior moment and put her false fangs in backwards and end up having to gum her food in front of her date…..
…..she could have a senior moment and park her walker in an area that her date will trip over he has to go the litterbox…..
…..she could have a senior moment and forget who her date is and hiss at him when he returns to the table….
As you can see, Sassy needs……oops – gotta go, Sassy is hissing and charging at me – wonder if she is having another senior moment!
