Kitties –
Are you ready to play the next round of Guess That Mystery Cat? This week’s cat is quite the blogosphere
star. As the saying goes, “to know him
or her is to love him or her!” The first
clue is posted below. If there are no
correct guesses, the next clue will be posted tomorrow morning.
Okay, here we go!
Clue #1
I have the
same name as a character in a very popular sitcom from the late 1950 to early ‘60’s.
Wow, Kitties - we have a first! We have a correct guess from one clue only! Grrreta of www.grrreta1.blogspot.com correctly guessed that our Mystery Cat for this week is Wally of www.island-cats.com. Please stop by and say congrats to Grrreta and tell Ernie to get off the ladder - Wally is on his way home!
P.S. For those of you wondering what the second clue was going to be: Clue #2 - Lately I have been known to go "nekked" on some of my body parts!

Is it Oliver? (from Green Acres)
Mom Paula says that's before her (and our) time! Waiting for the next clue!
Yikes there are so many options!!! I'm going to have to tune in tomorrow for the next clue :-)
The only 50s sitcom I can think of is I Love Lucy, and the only cat with the same name of any of those characters is Lucy of Hannah and Lucy. Well, there's also Father Knows Best, but my human does not know any of the names of those characters, just that the star was the father of Marlo Thomas. Oh, there's also Ozzy and Harriet, but I don't know any kitties by those names. Oh, wait a minute - the Donna Reed Show... no cats named Donna either.
This is all before my human's time too. Except for I Love Lucy, I don't think she's actually seen any of these shows, she just heard about them from her vintage TV and film friends.
We are not really up on 50s American sitcom!!! :( But we do know Lucy??
I know it's later than 50s but we're going to guess Maxwell (Ryker's Boys) from Get Smart???
Is it Wally from Leave It to Beaver?
Oh, Grrreta, you're so smart!! I was hoping that it was gonna take lots of clues before anybuddy figured it out!
Wally
Wow! I never would have guessed. I remember Green Acres, but not the kitty.
By the way, I received your comment about the avatars. I learned to make them from "Twinkeloe Tails" at http://twinkletoetails.blogspot.ca.
You can check out their post for May 29, 30 and 31, which detail how to make an avatar, how to clip and save the avatar, and how to edit the avatar to customize it.
I have made an avatar for Callie if you would like to see it. Calico kitties are difficult to do with the software provided.
I think I tend to over-customize the avatar because I pay too much attention to detail. I have a bit of an artistic bent, especially in making likenesses.
If you want the avatar that I made, please let me know where to email it.
Also, I wasn't sure if you had a second cat or not. You can let me know in the email if you would like another one.
Cheers!
Wendy
Hi, it's me again! I went back and read your comment, and have since made an avatar of Sassy.
I must be getting old -- my memory isn't as good as it used to be.
So, let me know where to send them.
And Me missed it! What will yous be doing tonight? Me hid UTB Sunday when they letted off fireworks here in Midway and tonight me will be back there again as our US neighbors (we lives 100 yards North of the border) has theirs!
Me hopes yous has a Happy Day!
Kisses
Nellie
